You know how disheartening it can be when you have stuck to your healthy diet and not only are you failing to lose weight but you seem to be getting even fatter.
A common question is ‘why do you gain weight fat when you eat healthy?’
Well usually the answer boils down to exercise. Many people think that as long as they are careful what they eat then they will not put any weight on or even lose weight.
If you have a job like sitting at a desk all day or if you spend your days watching television you are not burning any calories and there is every chance that even when you watch your diet you are consuming more calories than you actually need. In layman’s terms this means that you will start to put on weight.
It is also worth considering that if you eat your evening meal late at night you will be doing nothing to burn up any calories and the result is that you will put on weight. Whilst we’re on this subject always try and eat at least 4 hours before you go to bed.
So we’ve concluded that we need to burn off some calories and weather you like it or not this means that you need to do a little exercise. Now if you’ve not done any exercise for years this might come as quite a shock but rest assured that I am not suggesting that you go out for a 10 mile run, not yet anyway.
Take a walk around the block, walk up and down the stairs a few times, take the dog for a longer walk, you get the drift.
There is a good chance that you will start to enjoy it and before long you may start to run a little or if funds allow go to the gym. You will find you feel a lot better in yourself and you will sleep like a log.
Try it, and if you stick to your healthy eating as well you will start to see the fat drop off.
