Top 5 Breakfasts to Eat on the Run
Frenzy is probably the best word to describe the way that most people live every day. We are constantly running to get places. It is like we are always in a hurry to get somewhere whether it is work or our kid’s soccer game. Often, this leads to really rotten eating habit for both adults and children alike. Thankfully, there are some great breakfast alternatives that a person can eat on the run to make sure that they are starting their day off on the right foot.
1. Oatmeal: There are pre-made oatmeal cups that you can purchase and simply mix with hot water. These are great to take in the car as they are easy to eat and they give you a wonderful complex carbohydrate to start the day.
2. Fruit and nuts: By combining healthy fruits and raw nut, you will be getting a good amount of natural sugar combined with healthy fats and protein to start your morning off right.
3. Yoghurt: This is a great food to have in your diet because of the protein, calcium and great digestive benefits it provides.
4. Whole wheat bagel with fat free cream cheese: This choice will give you that full feeling for sure, but also breaks down into sugar slowly so it will not give you the blood sugar swings.
5. Apple slices with peanut butter: Having fruit with some protein is a great way to start your day and prevent wild shifts in your blood sugar as well!
