I've had to really focus on my diet, recently, because of high cholesterol. The following have really helped me stop binge-eating.

Eat a big breakfast in the morning. Eat lots of porridge. It's really good for you, and fills you up. I, also, eat lots of healthy fruit in the morning as well.

If I'm at home, I often have lentils (with a bit of meat + veg + rice mixed up). Lentils are really good for you. Also, your body feels filled up.

Porridge, fruit and lentils have really changed things for me. Although i do binge from time-to-time, it's down about 90%. And if i am going to binge, i try and binge on something healthy such as fruit or nuts (raw, salt-free) nuts. And then take that extra bit of exercise the next day.

Oh, yes, and drink lots of water (well, as much as your body needs - a lot of people don't drink enough water). Water helps to fill you up as well.

Lastly, I used to eat very badly. Was bad at exercise. And so on. I've had to give up smoking, too. But i feel a different person. I actually enjoying cooking up things such as porridge and lentils etc .. now because i know that it makes me feel better (and then there is the long-term, positive effects as well).

If i can, anyone can. Good luck!
