Do celebrity trends affect your diets?
In this day and age we are all affected in some kind of way of the trends of celebrities but does this really filter into food and drink?
I completely believe that it does and this is why….
We all read magazines and love to know how these celebrities get their own amazing figures and we want part of it. We want to look amazing without the effort and often forget that they are airbrushed several times over. We will learn about some amazing meals that they have eaten and how it can help us lose weight and before we know it we are in a supermarket buying the exact thing.
I remember quite a while ago the love for blueberries and how this all started after reading about how good they are for our diets in a magazine. Now you can not escape the blueberries they are literally in every shop going and people have them because they have been influenced by celebrities.
Another craze is the cup cakes and have fast become the next in thing which is quite surprising considering that they are not low fat. I have personally tried them and they taste amazing and are well worthwhile placing in your diet. We all need to have our sugar fix and if we have something special like this we will forget about our other cravings then enjoy a quality diet.
If we didn’t follow celebrity trends there would be no such thing as the Atkins diet, the southg beach diet or many other famous diets. My advice is to read about these trends like you would before but express a great deal of caution. If a celebrity says they follow a trend it might not necessarily be true they may have just sneaked out of the side door of the liposuction centre and how will you ever know the truth.
However I am very happy to continue to enjoy my cupcakes.
